Archive for April, 2010

It was Earth Day Thursday, so I have to mention freegle (freecycle in the US). Members give away useable items rather than chucking them in a landfill. It’s a great way to clear some space in your home or find secondhand items you need. Last week I was happy to send some baby items off to their new home. :)

In March, overtherainbowphotography.com turned 1 year old. My baby girl also turned 4. Shhh, don’t tell her I said baby! She’s feeling very grown up these days (and looking it too). I guess it’s time to buy some more hairclips since she’s insisting on growing her bangs/fringe out, but here are a few shots celebrating another great year:

and not to leave the little guy out:

I had my first Littlest Heroes Project shoot this afternoon.  We met at a local playground for a fun, relaxed lifestyle portrait session. This is my new friend H.  He’s a brave, fun-loving boy, and I was very pleased to meet him and his sweet family.  Just one quick shot today – I’ll share more after I deliver the images to the family next week. :)

As promised, here’s more from Ezat & Linda’s wedding!
Guests, friends, and relatives, you can view the full gallery and order prints here or by clicking on Proofing above.:) (password hint: bride’s surname)

Linda’s mum wasn’t up to attending, so we made a special trip to her home on the way to the wedding.

The wedding was held at the Everglades Hotel in Derry. The event manager, James, and his staff were fantastic in looking after the couple, guests, and vendors and kept things running smoothly. Linda & Ezat, thank you for being so fantastic to work with. I wish you a long and happy marriage!

Wedding season is upon us, and I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Linda & Ezat’s wedding on Saturday.  I had a brilliant time, and I’m looking forward to going through all the photos. Here are a few teaser shots from the day:

I promise I’ll post more soon. :)

Linda & Ezat: Congratulations!  The full gallery should be ready in about two weeks – I can’t wait to share it with you.

p.s. Happy Easter!
